How do I hook up a Trac-King to my DIRECTV ?
I live full time in a class A motor home, I have two HDTV’s. One 35″ up front and a 19″ in the rear. I have a Trac-King in motion dual LBN and a Wingard roof ant. with a winggard box that lets me switch between DIRECTV or local TV. I have an older style DVR and just received a new HR23-700. I want to use the older box in the rear. I called King Controls and they sold me a 9747 HD converter box, a 3×4 Multi-Switch and a 22kHz tone switch. Can someone be kind enough to make me a sketch of how all of this works??? I have no idea at all. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!
If the dish on top of the motor home is not an HD dish, then you are out of luck. The 3×4 is for standard definition only. It will kill the HD signal.

DirectTV – HD DVR – PC to DVR streaming – Viiv ?
Hi,
I had a DirectTV HD DVR, and I have my home network connected, and operational from home computers to it.
I would like to stream multi-media from the PC to the HDDVR — But I see it has something to do with ‘Viiv” –
I am unfamiliar with the technology,.. but from my understanding it will work through Media Player 11 — I am running XP on this particular machine.
But I was curious do I have to add a plugin – download Viiv, or is it a hardware component I must possess in the chipset of the computer to even accomplish?
Just some basic (or detailed) advice would be greatly appreciated.

Your streaming in the wrong direction. DTV has a program called Direct2PC, but it streams from your DVR to your pc. You can’t stream the opposite direction. DTV’s software does not allow that.
